Cardmaking is the process of using drawings and/or text on cardboard to communicate a message.

A card may be used to send a message of congratulations, condolences, wishes, and many other types of messages.

The kind of card determines the meaning that is communicated by the card.

TYPES OF CARDS AND USES 

There are a few distinct varieties of cards. These greeting cards are used for a variety of events, including the following:

Greeting cards

Greeting cards that are presented to the recipient on significant events such as a birthday, Christmas, or Sallah. These cards are presented as a way to convey gratitude, admiration, or any variety of other emotions.

Invitation cards

Invitation cards are sent to friends, family members, and well-wishers to invite them to significant events such as weddings, birthday parties, funerals, political rallies, and religious gatherings.

Success cards

During the preparation, the testing, or the post-examination phase, well wishes may be sent via the use of success cards. It is also a way to convey congratulations to someone after they have achieved success in a certain endeavour or profession.

Seasonal cards

During various holiday seasons, such as Christmas, New Year’s, Eid-el-Fitri, and Eid-el-Kabir, people send greeting cards to one another to share their warmest greetings and best wishes.

Condolence cards

Sending a condolence card is a kind way to convey compassion to someone who has just lost a loved one.

Congratulatory cards

Sending congratulations cards to family and friends is a wonderful way to share in the joy of an important life event such as a wedding, promotion, or new job.

2. Pencil

3. Shears/Cutters

4. a knife for cutting

5. Crayon 6. Marker

7. Brushes

8. Relevant glue/Gum

9. Ruler

10. Standard bond paper 

11. A wide selection of different ribbons

NOTE: Third week for lesson and fourth week for practical
