Types of DancePure Dance

Pure Dance: It is a kind of dance that is performed with the primary intention of displaying various body motions. The objective is to investigate and demonstrate the potential of the human body in terms of movement, or alternatively, to demonstrate the dancers’ skill in making use of their bodies.

The dance drama is a genre of dance that is designed to tell a narrative in a logical order by incorporating a series of actions and movements into the performance.

Dramatic Dance

The primary focus of the performance of dramatic dance is to emphasize a certain tone or atmosphere within a play. Its purpose is to draw attention to a particular facet of the play being performed. In contrast to dance drama, it does not provide a whole plot in its entirety. However, it has the potential to be expanded into a full-fledged dance drama.

Comic Dance

Comic Dance This is accomplished by moving different portions of the body in peculiar ways or by exaggerating the movements to an extreme. The primary objective is to provide excitement for those watching.

Dance as a Career

Dance as a Career It is a real art that can be done well enough to make a good living. 

  • A trained dancer or choreographer is someone who works for an arts council that is controlled by the government. This job requires training and experience. 
  • A person who is considered an expert in dance may also work as a lecturer or a teacher at schools, either public or private, that offer dance as a subject of study. 
  • A professional dancer can also work with theater companies as a consultant and choreograph dancer for their shows.
  • Choreographers are often hired by musicians to create dances that are appropriate for their songs and are intended to accompany the music.
  • A professional dancer has the option of forming their own dance company or troupe, in addition to performing at a variety of events and occasions.
